Do. Reflect. Learn. Repeat.: Book Review - Python Testing Cookbook by Greg L. Turnquist

Overall, I liked the book, and it lived up to my expectations - it provided me with a list of tools and some sample code to get started with each of them.

A big hurrah for Russ Miles and Sylvain Hellegouarch

I have to give a big shout out to Russ Miles and Sylvain Hellegouarch. When I asked Russ two years ago what he throught about pitching a book proposal for my open source project, he told me to go for it. I bounced that off of Sylvain, and he gave the same strong encouragement. So I put one together and sent it off to Packt Publishing. After acceptance, Russ and Sylvain eagerly signed on as technical reviewers and I quickly learned that they don't pull any punches. So when Packt approached me to write another book, Russ and Sylvain were the first two people I asked about supporting me in this one as well. When you want to pitch a book proposal, its great to have a couple of solid developer geeks to encourage you and back you up by being ready to give you real, objective feedback. Thanks guys!

Packt about to publish cookbook

Packt tells me the book has been uploaded to the printers and is poised for release. I just need to pick which chapter will be given out as a free sample and which one will be made into an electronic article.
